A badge counter appears on your app icon to notify you when new email arrives. You don't have to do anything because the app features push notifications, which automatically send notifications of new email via the Badge Counter.
If you are not seeing the Badge on your icon, you may need to delete the shortcut from your phone screen and drag a new one from your Apps drawer. Here's how:
1. Tap and hold on the shortcut.
2. Drag it to the trash can icon usually located on top of the screen).
3. Check the app’s settings to ensure the option is enabled.
